This title is conferred by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense to companies that demonstrate the importance of their products and projects to National Sovereignty.
BNPETRO has three SDPs - Strategic Defense Projects:

Synthesis gas, highly hydrogenated, to meet the production of Fertilizers, Nitrogenated, Ammonia, Hydrogen and supplies for the Military industry.

Synthetic fuels, sustainable from waste, which can be produced anywhere in the country.

Polymeric Propellants for Rockets. Helping the giants of the space race to reduce their emissions, consumption of more stable, ecological fuels that help to clean the planet of garbage from landfills, rivers and oceans.
